Dinsdag 2 augustus streek het Madd Gear Scooters team in Park Spoor Noord in de wijk Antwerpen Noord neer. Deze stunters met step trekken momenteel de wereld rond om klein en groot kennis te laten maken met deze nieuwe sport en hun prachtig stuntwerk. Normaal gezien is de skatebowl in het park het terrein van skaters of bmxers maar die werden dinsdagmiddag even vakkundig aan de kant gezet door de steppers van het Madd Gear Team. EURO TOUR! 2nd Stop – August 4th, 2011 – Antwerp, Belgium – Day 2
We arrived at Spoor Noord skatepark at 10am, after sleeping on the bus overnight, with our hired driver travelling through the night for us! Waking up to a skatepark outside was a great experience too. All the riders couldn’t wait to get on there scooters, so they all skipped breakfast & started hitting up the awesome skatepark in the morning!
Tons of great flow riding went down in the concrete park as well as some funny moments with Coedie riding through a huge water fountain! haha the weather was excellent, the crowd was great & the park was amazing! We also had a T.V crew down to film the MGP riders, as well as a couple of locals newspapers doing interviews so the day made a huge impact!
We stayed at the park till 11pm with Rob & Terry riding the bowls in there underwear in the dark haha everyone else kicked back & relaxed, reflecting on a great day & awaiting the next tour stop! so keep checking the blog for daily updates, next stop: Coburg, Germany!
